Humboldt's Day with the Stanley Cup | Jared Bednar



Jared Bednar visits Humboldt, Saskatchewan with the Stanley Cup for the Fifth Annual Humboldt Broncos Memorial Golf Tournament.
The Avalanche head coach was inducted into the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) Hall of Fame and is the only coach to have a Kelly Cup (ECHL), Calder Cup (AHL) and a Stanley Cup in his career.

    OK, Jared got me all teary eyed, again.
    This time the cup didn't do it, but Jareds humbleness and passion for humanity.
    I can only imagine what a great guy he must be to play for.

    Any team would be so lucky and blessed to have such an amazing coach and person. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting and speaking Mr. Bednar a few years ago. I can without a doubt tell you he is the nicest, most down to earth, humble, and gratuitous guy you could ever meet. Thank you Mr. Bednar for everything you do and for helping to bring that cup to Colorado and instilling greatness on the Avalanche team and all communities you work with.

    We got there early and walked in and seen Jared setting up his own stage! Pure class. Got some extra pictures in before the meeting with cup started.

    Hands down the best coach in all of sports in my book. He is such a humble guy and cares about his people. You can tell by the way he speaks. Thank you coach for bringing a cup to colorado again!

    I’ll admit, I was one few people calling for his firing after the disastrous round 2 last year. This year, I am so damn happy I was proven wrong. Bedsy is an incredible guy and a helluva NHL coach!
