  1. Everyone stop complaining about not getting Kemell, Lekkermakki was insane against players his own age and they were rated basically the same all of these players are lottery tickets you don’t know what will happen but I love Lekkermakkis goal scoring ability

  2. Good pick, but when the hell are we going to trade JT Miller?! If we hold on to him and lose him for nothing when he goes to free agency then I swear im never watching this team again.

  3. Great pick 👍 can’t complain about a natural goal scorer and being Swedish fits the bill. This will be a great player to see how our player development will go.

  4. The scouting report read earlier on Reddit makes me think this guys a steal like Pettersson was. Anybody trashing this guy today may be regretting it later.

  5. im sad with alvin picking another small swede hoglander 2.0 if we are lucky…..i liked owen the pickle he would have been perfect.

  6. Thank god the new regime has good drafting. That was one thing I felt was good later in the benning era

  7. Canucks fans are hilarious.
Remember when the Canucks drafted Pettersson? Obviously 29 other teams passed on Lambert. Let's give the guy a chance before we critique him.

He could very well be a steal at #15

  8. He can be a sniper… I just hope he will fill up his frame a little bit more. If paired with linemates who are big and strong, he can be very good.

  9. Glad they picked the right guy.Didnt think he would be available. If he wasn't maybe Ohgren Or Kemmel.

  10. It's good was hoping they’d trade for another mid-1st and get Lambert or Kemell but I like lekkermaki he’ll be great once he puts on 20lbs and he's only 17 so…

  11. Management builds up all this hype with comments made to the media about changes to the team and I would bet the roster will look the same as it did last year. No hope for fans, nothing has changed 🙃🙃

  12. why did they say He wears number 40 because of Petey?
i could only find him wearing 23 and 88.

  13. Lambert is easy to like but there is huge risk. I liked Lambert too it's scary to know that one bad year that drop you like a rock as a prospect. Clearly most teams agreed. I do like Lekkerimaki as his floor is higher than Lambert I think. According to Alvin he is very dedicated, and as far as flaws in his game he is very young and very coachable by all accounts. Therefore this is a bet by Alvin his own player development team. This was a fascinating draft as it was a crap shoot. The redraft 3 years from now could be wildly different. Are the scouts correct there are no superstars here? Or are they wrong?

  14. Promising player is a few years away from making the club. About as much time as it takes to develop a Dman which the club desperately needs. The Canucks are loaded with R wingers. Weird selection if they are not shopping or trading.

  15. I like this pick. The guy I REALLY wanted was Kemell, but I watched Lekkerimaki dominate the U18 and I could immediately see the many ways this guy can beat an opponent. Should be fun watching him on the powerplay with Pettersson.

  16. Let me be the first to this joke:

Sometimes I think with this Lekkermaki pick that the Canucks are just trying to find the next Elias Pettersson, but perhaps I’m overthinking things. The Canucks next pick… Elias Pettersson! 🤣
