Just a sobering reminder that even though Flyers fans might be excited about Brink or Foerster or Desnoyers or Andrae, etc… they’re not making a blip on anyone else’s radar.
One of the reasons the franchise has very little hope. Few good under 23 players and we continue to trade picks away for veterans like Risto and TDA.
Might be worth mentioning that Pronman was lower on Gauthier than the consensus in last years draft. But I’m not gonna act like I know more than he does.
That’s a fair assessment of the Flyers prospects.
I’m not sure I put too much weight into this list. The grading system is a little vague. Just three of the top 10 prospects were graded as above average skaters? Three seems low for players graded as elite or all-stars. Plus, the top prospect is only graded on four of the five metrics (no shot)? The rankings seem ok, but the methodology to rank the prospects doesn’t make too much sense to me.
