  1. Further proof that baseball should stay the national pastime, even hockey players are getting excited about hitting dingers

  2. Nothing better than a nice warm summer day, hitting dingers and dunking a nice cool beer šŸ’Æ

  3. I think itā€™s ridiculous that some people say hitting a baseball is easy because non-baseball players hit homers in batting practice. Itā€™s really easy when the same type of pitch is thrown at 60 mph, in the same location, every time.

  4. professional athletes in most any sport are a different breed. Granted this is off lob pitching, but these professional athletes catch on quick. Amani Toomer played in a local roller hockey league after he retired from football. He wasn't the greatest hockey player, but he picked it up quick and you could tell he was a professional athlete….by the way, was also a really nice guy, very respectful to his teammates, coach, the sport, etc.

  5. They have a nicer stadium then the rays and are better at hitting. What an embarrassment.

  6. That's our usher Bob in the stands. Great guy. Miss seeing him at the Rays and Lightning games. I don't use my tickets much. Wish I could send them to him for some games so he can sit and watch a game.

  7. For those who are wondering, most hockey players grow up playing baseball in the summer in Canada which is why you see some good swings from a lot of Canadian hockey players.

  8. BREAKING NEWS: BEN BISHOP ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT AND WILL DH FOR RAYS FOR 2021 AND HELP LEAD THE RAYS TO WORLD SERIES

  9. I don't enjoy hockey, I tried when the blues won the cup. But I've always respected them more than any other major sport athlete.

  10. Hockey players literally play baseball growing up as a summer sport and probably did and now theyā€™re all just jacked so yeah.

  11. Dudes barely even swinging lol, if you hadn't told me I world have said those were easy fly outs
