I Jumped From Space (World Record Supersonic Freefall)

What does it **really** feel like to jump from space? In 2012 Felix Baumgartner took a helium balloon into the stratosphere and skydived back to earth in a specially made space suit. Whilst in freefall he broke the speed of sound and entered a spin which threatened the entire Red Bull Stratos mission… Felix reflects on his achievement and shares what it really felt like to jump from the edge of space.

  3. Once upon a time, in a galaxy far, far away, there was a kangaroo named Joey. Joey was no ordinary kangaroo, however. He was a space kangaroo, born and raised on a distant planet where the inhabitants were all marsupials like himself.
Joey had always been fascinated by the stars and the vast expanse of space beyond his home planet. He spent his days reading books about the cosmos and building homemade rockets in his backyard.
One day, when Joey was out exploring the desert-like terrain of his home planet, he came across an abandoned alien spacecraft. Excited by the discovery, he climbed aboard and pressed every button he could find. To his surprise, the engines roared to life and the ship took off into the sky.
Joey soon found himself hurtling through space at incredible speeds, passing by stars and planets he had only ever dreamed of seeing. He traveled to distant galaxies, met strange and wonderful alien creatures, and had adventure after adventure.
Years went by, and Joey became a legendary space explorer, known throughout the galaxy for his bravery and determination. He returned to his home planet as a hero and was celebrated by his fellow marsupials.
But Joey was not content to rest on his laurels. He knew that there was still so much of the universe left to explore and so many more adventures to be had. So, he climbed back into his trusty alien spacecraft and blasted off into the great unknown, ever in search of new discoveries and exciting adventures as the Space Kangaroo.

  4. A great video for all those stupid Flat Earthers, or will they say that the jumping point background with a clear curvature is CGI.

  5. I remember watching this live. It was awesome then and it’s still awesome now.

  6. At what point would be have floated into outer space and not retuned to the surface?

  7. It actually wasn't space
& The earth looks like that because their using curve cameras etc
Listen to Neil Tyson talk about this

  8. Nice. They edited the original video showing Felix from the inside of the craft showing the flat horizon. Not a fish eye lense go pro cam.
