Romanov should be playing top minutes now. He’s been developing well so far and his ceiling is a Norris Trophy Winner. He could play there with Clague. It might not be the best decision but it’s good for the players development and there’s no reason not to do so since the season is basically over.
Seeing a defenseman handing out some good hits is encouraging. This team is going through a hard stretch in its development but the Canadiens are still my team as it has always been during my 73 years.
