Habs fan here. Monty shut the door after Kyle Connor's 200th career goal before bringing out the AA guns. Dadonov scored 2, Anderson got a rebound off a Dach wraparound attempt, and Hoffman sniped one top shelf. 4-1 Habs win.
We needed the cats to lose to help our odds in the Bedard sweepstakes, shame the Leafs had to dig themselves out of that hole. We trade dance partners for Thursday, and we'll see the Leafs on Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday.
One last thing, the next Saturday is a rare night off for Toronto. Are you watching Habs v Sens on stream?

Cousins should have had a game misconduct for those 3 whacks at Auston Matthews. Repeatedly cross-checking a recently injured player in the ribs? Intent to injure was obvious.
Loved how Bunting went to Auston’s aid. Loved their grit.
I think the referees should be suspended. They do get reviewed, every game, but nothing is ever done to give them consequences.

I knew this one would be golden. I thought "how is Steve gonna think the Leafs were jobbed by the refs" when PPs were 7-3 (8 with the penalty shot). Gudas hit WAS NOT a penalty. Even Friedge didn't think it was a penalty.
Its going to SUCK when we lose Nylander in April-June 2024. Can we afford this guy? If so how!!? I hope he stays but I think he will bolt. Hope he stays.
When did the NBA start issuing reports about its officiating? I haven't watched the NBA at all in about 15 years, and not regularly since the '80s and '90s. It was so blatantly biased toward the home team and veterans back then that the change is difficult to imagine.

The referee that made most of the calls against Florida has a history of hating Paul Maurice so he definitely was affecting the game trying to fuck over Paul Maurice. You know that one where they call the penalty against Florida and then switched it? It’s because the other referees convinced him that he was wrong and that there was no penalty that Florida made.
