I'm 😡 Rutherford didn't take not even 1 single moment acknowgledge a long time Canucks Alumni #Legend Gino Odjick.
Rutherford could have done that conference any other day but the day prior to som1 passing that was beloved by his team mates and by the community, some fans were most upset about that then how the current state of this team is right now, it's just straight up just disrespect by Rutherford.
Gino will be always forever a Canuck legend that dereves to be respected ❤️ 🙏 RiP Gino Odjick.
What a gong show of a press conference. The Canucks biggest issue is an owner that treats the team like his own fantasy team.

The concern for Kuzmenkos age suprises knowing how they signed Miller. Seemed age was not a concern with JT. Anyway. if You are so keen to keep Petey why not ask him who he would rather have in the team. Kuz or Miller. This press conference should have been pushed back a day out of respect.
The way he has handled Bruce is disgusting. I hope Bruce raises his middle finger on his way out. How does Rutherford tell everyone that Bruce is his coach but then says he has directly talked with other candidates.
He basically told the rest of the league that it's a fire sale so he won't get any value in any trades.
Also, where was Alvin? Isn't he the GM? It just proves that Alvin is a puppet. This team is a disater and there is no light at the end of this tunnel. He doesn't care about his season ticket holders as proven by his response when asked about the quote from one of them.
He should be worried about any FA wanting to sign in Vancouver; not to mention if Petterson or Kuzmenko want to even want to resign here.

Why is everyone so sure Bruce wants to stay or that there wasn't some agreement long ago that if he didn't get it done he's out. That would explain why Rutherford not being afraid to talk about coach candidates.
