Mavericks trade rumors from NBA Insider Marc Stein suggest that Dallas is open to a Cam Reddish trade. Reddish is out of the Knicks’ rotation and apparently New York would ship him out for a pair of 2nd round picks. Reddish has 3-and-D upside, but hasn’t been consistent during his NBA career with the Knicks and Atlanta Hawks. “Sources said Doncic, who hasn’t shown a desire to be involved in personnel matters in the past, has strongly indicated he wants the Mavs to upgrade before the Feb. 9 trade deadline. Of course, that’s easier said than done for a team that still owes the Knicks a pick to complete the Porzingis deal. The Mavs are well aware of a modern NBA math problem: Unhappy stars who have only two guaranteed years remaining on their contracts have leverage if they’re looking to leave. Marc Stein on a potential Cam Reddish trade to the Mavericks:
“The Knicks have redoubled their efforts to find a new home for Reddish with essentially three weeks to go until the deadline, sources tell The Stein Line, with the Dallas Mavericks having joined the Milwaukee Bucks and the Los Angeles Lakers on the list of known potential trade partners. Reddish has been unable to win trust or regular minutes from Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau since New York acquired him from Atlanta just over a year ago. If Reddish were to wind up in Dallas, it would be a full-circle change of address for the 23-year-old, who was selected No. 10 overall by the Hawks in the 2019 NBA Draft with the pick Dallas packaged to Atlanta as part of the Luka Dončić-for-Trae Young draft-day swap in 2018. Sources say that the Knicks, though, are angling for Dallas to send Thibodeau favorite Reggie Bullock to New York in a Reddish deal, who is likewise held in high regard by the Mavericks.”

Mavs need a defensive and rebounding big(Wood can cover the front court offense) like Turner/Capela and a two way shooting guard like Dejounte Murray/Shai
Cuban don’t do Luka like you did Dirk having to wait several yrs to put Defense and more Shooters around him. He will want to get traded soon
Think about these names: Westbrook, Green, LaVine, Turner, 3 guys on Toronto, among other lower tier players. We have been listening to all of these names and players since the beginning of the season. We know the Hawks, Knicks, Clippers and Lakers 😅must make moves to win 🏆, Luka needs help, who will Chicago trade?, etc. Amazing. Not a single trade.
The Knicks need to give Reddish+2 pick, for Bullock, not the other way around, because Bullock has a more expensive contract than Cam, is more experienced and is more valued by the Knicks…
