RIP Enzo. He deserves as much respect & admiration as his son, the greatest super-middle weight & light heavyweight boxer of all time: un-defeated Joe Calzaghe. I just want Joe to know: don't listen to any of these sports writers who claim "Joe never had the respect from the American boxing fans"……THAT IS A LIE. Joe had millions of hardcore AMERICAN fans, like me. Those liars need to admit the truth: IT WAS THE AMERICAN FIGHT PROMOTERS & SPORTS WRITERS WHO PURPOSELY DISSED JOE CALZAGHE, BECAUSE THEY WERE AFRAID JOE WOULD DEFEAT THEIR AMERICAN BLACK CHAMPIONS. But after Jeff Lacy agreed to fight Joe across the pond ( because the American promoters PURPOSELY offered Calzaghe fight purses/pay outs that were so low, they were an insult, THAT is how they kept Joe out of the states for so long, because they KNEW Joe & Enzo would refuse such ridiculously low purses, as all of the money would go to the American opponent ) and Joe destroyed Lacy, then defeated Kessler, the world was put on notice, and the American fight promoters could no longer play games via "cheap pay-outs" to Joe…….AND LOOK WHAT HAPPENED: Sure enough, Joe beat Bernard Hopkins and utterly destroyed Roy Jones Jr.
That f*cking Adalaide Byrd, one of the most corrupt judges in pro boxing history, OF COURSE she scored the fight "for Hopkins". She had/has no business being a judge in ANY pro fight. She pulled the same corrupt bullshit during the Lomachenko vs Lopez fight…….not to mention dozens of other fights she threw via her corruption. Corrupt judges continue to stain the history of pro boxing & mma, by taking bribes to rig their own score cards. It became so blatantly apparent during that fight that Hopkins simply couldn't deal with Joe's speed & punching combo's/volume, which is why Hopkins resorted to grabbing & holding continuously. He also kept faking "pain from low blows". God Bless actor Michael Fox, because he told the truth about Hopkins during his interview in this documentary. Hopkins felt the power Joe truly had with his deceiving "slaps" ( short, fast hooks ) and that's when Hopkins knew Joe was more than he bargained for. If not, then why didn't Hopkins fight like a true warrior in that fight? Even the compu-box numbers revealed that no one had ever hit Hopkins as much as Joe was hitting him. Had Hopkins fought Joe like a true champion SHOULD, Joe would've beat his ass far worse……..and Hopkins damn well knew it……that racist bastard.
There ya have it folks, straight from the mouth of Roy Jones Jr's head trainer, quote: "Roy is better prepared for this fight than any fight during the 18 years I've been his training him"……end quote. Joe destroyed him. But I give Roy full credit, because he went in there to really fight, UNLIKE Bernard Hopkins, who cheated & faked his way through most of his fight against Joe.
If possible, an addition should be added to the end of this documentary, in memory & honor of Enzo.

I couldn't understand what Joe Calzaghe's family was saying about the time when 40 kids on bikes showed up at their house to fight Joe. Did they say he fought each kid one by one or did he decide not to? That would be badass if he beat all those kids up haha. I'd pay to see a video of Joe beating up his first bully

If you notice joe as a kid his best ko punch was his left upper cut. And he forgot that punch he didn't use it anymore, eurbank upper cut was taking joe head off. And truthfully joe lost to Bernard. He got dropped so he lost two round and was about even the rest. And also notice both times when his left was hurt he shine as a weaver fighter and just gave many weak shot that make him look so good. That should have been his style and add the uppercut LOL
