Zacha hasn’t had the puck go his way most of the year but when that inevitably turns and after today it might be then What a player they have. Still think he’s the future 2C. While he might never be Krejci I think he’s more than good enough.
If you get Horvat you need to trade Coyle, it will cushion Horvat's price. Plus you'll need a spot in the lineup for him and I don't see him on the 4th line. And you don't trade for him unless you can sign him long term like Lindholm. Zacha is over paid. But, it could be part of the Pasternak negotiations. Pasta wants long term success and likes Zacha. I can see the Bruins saying ok, if you want us to keep Zacha long term then you need to help us out with the money; if you take a little less then that will help us pay Zacha.
There is only so much money to go around. If you put a huge part of the money toward 2 or 3 players then you have a team with a superstar and a couple of all-stars you have a middle of the pack team and struggle to make the playoffs every year. See the Edmonton Oilers.
some on twitter were complaining about the Zacha contract. Boldy just signed for 7 at more than 7 per. other teams make terrible contracts.
Canucks need a RD, I would offer Carlo for Horvat add maybe Beecher and then look for another RD someone like Mayfield to hold the spot down until Lohrei is ready.

Carlo, Grzelcyk, one of Ullmark/Swayman and Debrusk aren’t making it through the summer on the team probably all 4 getting dealt. They need a #1 center, if Bergeron wants to return put him at 2C and trade Coyle
Sweeny got to be careful not to screw up chemistry of this team it's going to real interesting.
