What a beer league tier defending. And imagine these guys making so big money from that standing over there

  2. Own-Grab-9953

They let the *leafs* score on them in 3 on 3

  3. shittybillz

Yea that was bad lol. Nylander wasn’t going *that* fast, the red sea just split wide open for him

42 was really enjoying the view of the game from the slot.

That really was a complete defensive breakdown.

Timmins passed off to Nylander and immediately headed off for a shift change and never entered the o zone.

Marner needs to be watched but he had literally hit the ice on a shift change, was way out of position to be part of the rush and was lazily skating into the zone 10-15 feet away from the nearest defender – at best maybe Marner could have picked up a rebound but he wasn’t a threat here.

No reason why at least one of not both defenders should have jumped on Nylander or at least bottle up the net front to prevent open ice for Nylander to move across it.

I see the Panthers are already in playoff form

YOU know,, its not like the game was on the line.

  8. Good thing they paid a 1st rounder for Ben Chiarot

    Forsling left auto back-skate on.

From a Habs fan, I love it. Thank you, Florida. Everyone can be a Maple Leafs fan at least once in their life, right?

Not a defense of the breakdown but second game of a back to back and been on the road a ton recently. But it’s still a bone headed play by the OT line

    Disconnected controler on Forsling.

  13. intelligentx5

Yooo did your folks go to the JT Miller school of playing defense?

Ps. Am a Canucks fan 🥲

Hey! No fair! Nobody called “game on”!

I’m not sure Forsling has any responsibility in the goal. (I could be wrong). The guy whose jock is in the rafters is a forward (verhaegge) who was covering for a missing defense man. What about a poke check by Bobrivsky?

Forsling is covering the center lane, literally looking up ice for a trailing leaf to eliminate an outlet pass. I wouldn’t expect Forsling to follow his teammate into the corner. He’s got to be thinking, “my teammate is on the puck carrier, my goalie is not screened, my job here is to prevent a pass into the middle or clear a rebound should it come to that”. It just looks bad for him because he appears flat footed.

Can’t be certain, but I’m wondering who missed their shift and left the forward to play defense.

Love it. God I hope we get Bedard with that pick.

  18. locuststaar

It’s sad because they destroyed the Sabres

  19. Darth_Quaider

I guess EA bots really are accurate to real life

  20. PBR-Supremacist

What defence? All I see are a couple pylons

  21. HookItUpCuuz

C Leaguer gets the puck, skates right in and scores

  22. KantanaBrigantei

    That’s some beer league hockey.
He’s your guy. Not my problem.

  23. Hattrick_Swayze2

This whole sequence looks like shinny. Nylander just leisurely skating past the one plug who throws a half-hearted stick whack his way, and the other defender/centre just gliding back as Nylander slides it past the goalie.
