Let’s pick Will Smith and hope he’s a future star. We can’t pass up on those memes.
Yamcha_is_dead
If we somehow have no picks in the top 5: I’d like a forward among Smith, Dvorsky, Sale, Yager, and a D-man.
No Benson, since we already have a version of him in Caufield.
NtBtFan
what are the chances Michkov drops further? if he’s available at 6-7 is that a lock for us to pick him?
with Floridas pick I’ve been hoping we could get Dalibor Dvorsk*ý*
Pouletchien
I don’t get why the two USHL guy in the top 16 are ranked there. I know pts are not everything but being under a points per game in the USHL doesn’t scream 1st rounder to me.
GoalCaufieldReg
Man, I wonder how hard (and dangerous) itd be to draft Michkov and actually keep him in North America? Retiring from the KHL and cancelling his contract is totally possible, but I wonder in how much danger his family would be? Maybe wed just need to bring them over as well. Anyway, being able to control his development here instead of leaving him over there in this mess might be worth it.

I really like Cristall personally. I think he could be a real super star in a few years, reminds me of panarin kinda, maybe we can get him at 7? Then either Dvorsky or Yager would prob be my choices with the FLA pick. Not sure we should go for a Dman in the first round as it isn’t the strongest Dclass this year/ already have a lot of good D prospects. I think we need the center depth more
NorthernDragon5
I’d want Dvorsky, not that long ago he was in the top 5 conversation. He’s falling mostly due to insane play from other players and his tendency to be more passive in play style. But he still has all the talents of a top 5 pick
BlazeOfGlory72
Unless Mitchkov drops, I’d probably go with Will Smith. He is scoring at a historic rate in the USDP, and we need look no further than Caufield at how well drafting that type of player can turn out. He’s also a centre, which we definitely need. Seems like a no brainer really.
EmTeeEl
Barely any player (Two) from the Q again. We (the province} really suck at developing players.

Smith and Sandin Pellikka pls
RocketRousse
I like Cristall a lot, I see a whole lot of superstar potential in him. My backup if Cristall isnt available would be Benson
Nate Danielson would be my second pick. After seeing him play, the guy is crazy talented. The only drawback up until now was his production, but lately he’s been tearing it up and catching up in the points, so
Just4nsfwpics
Will Smith and Pellikka would be the dream at those positions.

What are the odds Benson is there at 7?

7,8,9,11 are C and 13, 15 are RD if the Habs can snag 1 of each and Hrabal with a late 1st or early 2nd this draft could be a slamdunk.
Personally I would grab Reinbacher with Florida’s pick and whatever C the scouts think has the highest ceiling with MTL’s pick. If it’s Dvorsky, that would be great because of the Slovak connection with Slaf and Mesar.
Coming out of this draft potentially with a top 6 C, Top 4 RD and starting goalie + 6 more rounds of picks would make the prospect pool/under 23 players stacked at all positions.

Any two of Cristall, Dvorsky, Will Smith, Simashev
willcochrane12
if we can come out with Will Smith and Sandin-Pellikka that is a massive W of a draft.
Beefiest_bison
Smith/Benson/Cristall and Reinbacher would be the dream in the range
FBR_MC
Depends, really. At 7th, you hope that teams in front of us get scared of Michkov, if not, if a guy like Smith or Benson is still there, they should be a lock. At 12th, I’d reach (or trade down) for a guy like Sale, Heidt, Gauthier or Yager, they’re way too low for me on this list.

Michkov is very very good, should be rated higher but injured this year. He’ll be a steal.

I don’t know anything about his game but I’d take Daniil But with a 2nd, he’s a big boy.

What’s the scope on Dragicevic, good size and seems to have some good offence. Could he be a good option with our 2nd rounder? If we end up with two picks in the 6-12 range it would be nice to pick a couple forwards with high ceilings and Dragicevic would be a nice add for an offensive RHD.
