  1. I think the caveat here is that the offside player needs to physically influence the play to be considered an offside , that's the only valid reason to consider it a goal. I very much suspect that's how the football laws judge it because , if we have to consider the players' mental when judging football , things would quickly spiral out of control since millions of things could affect players' mental play and we can neither track most of it nor have any reliable way to verify it. Case Closed!

  2. As a Newcastle fan, this was a great result. However, that was offside. No-one seems to have picked up that Rashford played a dummy. He pretended to shoot. Your city players reacted to the dummy. Watch it back at quarter speed. Anyway, please lose a few more games and draw with Arsenal. You’ve won it enough times, it’s our turn!

  3. This is a clear offside. Rashford affected the play. He was offside when the ball was kicked from midfield. He ran all the way following the ball and later left it for Rashford. Perhaps he wanted to score but he just left it for his teammate to score it rather. The referee should not have awarded the goal.

  4. I'm an arsenal hardcore fan, do y'all know what I mean…. A mizotawng tak in
Edited…. tu te tih dan tak ah …lo chhut ve mai teh u

  5. It should've been offside cause he still was playing a big role in intimidating the defenders into chasing the wrong person.

  6. Rashford is too selfish! How many goals did MU miss becouse of it? I guess a lot and MU better get rid of him or retrain him to play for a club.
The first goal of MU is just a joke on a referee job.

  7. Both United goals had to be disallowed. The first Rashford does not intervene in the shot on goal but in the play. And in the second, clearly Rashford himself is coming back from out of place. Clearly CANCELED the 2.

  8. When it comes to United the offside rule doesn’t exist—both goals by Rashford against City and Arsenal were offside.
