I’m surprised that we’re actually kind of close in size to the Kings subreddit. And also surprised at how much larger the Sharks subreddit is.

I know that Reddit numbers do not exactly represent that of a team’s true fan base but always wished there was more of us for the game day threads. That’s okay, once we get Bedard, we’ll be the talk of the town!

It’s probably also a reflection of how techy or online a fan base is. I’m a Ducks fan based in Vancouver. Canucks are hardly the second largest fan base out there. But we are also a city that is very online. (I blame it on the rainy weather. Also we have a reputation for living our lives in silos and being insular.)
That would also explain why SJ has more users because I can imagine Silicon Valley having a decently sized online culture.
