bryce young is going to be such a bust. are people really gonna ignore the last 30 years of data when it comes to tiny little QBs that dont even weigh 190 pounds and arent even 6 feet tall? dude has johnny manziel written all over him, i dont understand the hype. if hes so good and special, then how come he never won a single thing at alabama and UG is back to back national champs? you would think if a QB is such a special talent, and they play for a team like alabama that has more talent than 99.9% of the country, he would have won a national title. even mac jones managed to win one with alabama…

this is just MY TAKE. I see the Colts as FAR more desperate then the Texans. I think by the week of the draft or the day before the draft the Texans will not give as much as they are the #2 pick they simply do not have to. Where as the Colts if 3 or 4 teams are in play for the pick WILL give up their #4 and 2nd and either 3rd or 4th this year AND their first round pick in 2024 as well as a 2nd or a 3rd or a 4th (just 1) for 2024 too. The Colts have been in QB hell since Luck left. The fan base seems more desperate and the GM has already come out to say they "will move heaven and earth" to get the top pick if they love a QB. Add to that a relationship from taking their DC cord as our head coach and it just seems like the Colts at 4 are a natural fit AND Poles gets the DT or Pass rusher as AZ can only take one of them at #3. That said if Texans want to beat that package for Colts then Poles will gladly take it and get the best def player on THEIR board. Win Win for our Bears
Pros and cons of Lovie is, he always gets best effort from his players and they all respect him. But he can never find a functional OC, he did once with Mike Martz but he didn't have the personnel to run his offense.

Texans wont trade up Both Young and Stroud are Franchise QBs , They will get one of them and conserve Their Draft picks, They have too many holes to give up picks.
Texans have the #2 pick. If they cant get Young, they can pick Stroud. Or they can trade #2 pick to get more picks, tank, go for #1 next year to get Caleb Williams, you know, the guy that just won the Heisman.
If you wanna honor lovie you do NOT give Houston the top pick

Remember the time DAH, that Lovie and Tom Coughlin had almost IDENTICAL W/L records but someone won 2 superbowls and the other won 3 playoff games. I remember. Glad the players had fun. as a fan, I didn't. they failed every year with Lovie

Trade down with Houston while inhaling the #12 overall and their 2024 2nd rounder. While in the process, finessing Indy into moving up to 2 overall. Consuming their 4th overall, “2” second rounders along with their 1st in 2024. Then ☎️ Arizona and tell them we will send Houston #12th overall, both Indy 2nd rounders and Houston 2024 2nd rounder for the 3rd overall selection. Bears draft BOTH Will Anderson and Jalen Carter back2back. Securing 2 thoroughbred’s to hunt & kill NFC North Qb’s for the next 10 years.

If the Texans are stupid enough to trade the bears should take whatever they offer then offer the second overall pick to the colts and they can still get Anderson or Carter. Or trade back again at 4 for whatever qb needy team and get the best offensive lineman available either way the bears draft capital is going to be crazy for the next 3 years.
