  1. Bruh two 1st round picks AND Lysell is just ridiculous. I'd much rather play Lysell over Horvat and keep the two picks

  2. I hope we can get players like Thomas Harley, Stankoven, Jack Drury or Bowen Byram (and a pick) for Bo

  3. Picks can be used more than just for drafting. Could be useful to use picks to target specific prospects or players from other teams. Or even used to off-load anchor contracts for cap flexibility.

  4. Hi my name is Shahid & this is my case, can I ask you something very important for sure definitely ? Yeah of course actually at this stand point, well I don't own why specifically , Actually I want to ask you question ? If I would be to support the General Manager & help creative role experience process position their interest & decide to make trade involve with Horvat or boeser deal in Boston their will be no official repeat Announcement regardless if he accept it or not. I would not put him their logical Eventually, I would think very closely . Toronto is perfect team fit solution to make new change will get through deadline their create new highs same value logical level will make sense Eventually , I would put him their & accept it agree on that term involve with different direction that's what I believe in this conversation. I would not accept it Boston their progress. If he does goes to this trade through Boston that will be no peace in that Category this level that's what I believe in this case

  5. With how tight all of these cap strapped teams are I don't see a move happening without $ going both ways. Also Lysell and the ~32nd overall pick in this draft comes nowhere near what I would expect as a return for Horvat. Now in saying that, how surprised would you be if it ended up going down as "Lysell, DeBrusk, 1st Rd 2023" knowing how things go in Vancouver.

  6. FYI, Rangers offered 1st rounder, Chytil and a prospect for Miller last season, but Nucks stupidly declined cause they wanted this other guy (in place of that prospect or in place of Chytil…can't remember). Rangers said no.

Just correcting you because Nucks were offered a lot last season for Miller. It's just that Jim R. or Alvin became downright stupid by getting too greedy and then became brain damaged by signing Miller to that long horrible contract when they could've gotten a haul for Miller and managed their current cap situation had they accepted that trade last season. They need to not be as greedy this time around and actually get a haul for Horvat.

  7. Why spend that much for horvat when you could possibly sign him in the offseason

  8. Lysell is in the tier of Hoglander maybe Podzkolzin on the higher end. Actually they are both worth more than him as they have nHL experience. Ask yourself if that is enough to get Bo Horvat. And how is Lysell being on the Vancouver Giants a plus other than the fact that Canucks brass can see him play?

  9. If I was looking at Boston,I would be targeting Brandon Carlo and a first.Carlo is a 6 5 big right shot d man.Thats who I would be after

  10. this has NOT happened. Misleading clickbait. If I could do it, I would suspend your accunt

  11. I love Bruins. My other favorite team. sorry guys I'm not from Vancouver but was an Oakland Seals fan until they folded so I picked VC cuz they are not LA.

  12. imagine Canucks trade Horvat for Lysell + b-tier prospect + 2nd and then resign him in the offseason for a discount hahaha.

I think a better deal would be for the Canucks to send him to the AVs for two young good pieces… Byram, Newhook for Horvat + Schenn. Colorado pays a hefty price but wins their second cup back to back. Easy pill to swallow when you've got two cups

  13. I can't wait for this season to be over. I hate it. We're going to place low but not low enough to land a top 3 pick. We're probably going to lose Bo, and while it would be a hilarious kick in the butt from the hockey Gods to have him win a cup in Boston of all cities, the most we can hope for is a decent trade return.

  14. i guess I can understand the dislike for Boston kind of like SF 49ers getting beat by Dallas Cowboys. some teams you just hate out of tribalism which is understandable. Bruins are perhaps the most consistent team year to year and I liked them because I saw Bobby Orr play against Oakland and my name also starts with a B.

  15. I'd be holding out for Carlo as piece #1, then either Lysell or a 1st round pick. Thing is the 1st rounder will be late and Canucks aren't exactly known for being shrewd drafters. I'd also try and get either Myers or OEL going back. With either of them you'll have to eat salary, as much as $5 mill for OEL, but that's much better than buying him out. If you need to send either Garland or Jack Rathbone back as a sweetner, they are both local (MA) boys and don't seem to be in the Canucks plans. Carlo would be a top pairing D with Hughes for years to come.

  16. It’s so obvious where he’s going. Boston, Colorado, Seattle, and Carolina.

  17. If you’re trading Horvat, I’m not convinced Boston will get you the best return

  18. Really doesn't make any sense as the Bruins will not give up what the Canucks are going to want, Carlo, Lysell, and a first to make up for the second they gave to the Hawks for 1.3million in cap space (not a good move in my books). Most likely the rental will be going to Colorado, or Seattle and on July 1 the Bruins will probably be the top contender for Bo as Bergeron will probably retire. If the Bruins can suck Vancouver into giving up Bo for less than that, they will take it. Very unlikely come deadline time there will be much better offers.

  19. Mock trade:

To BOS: Bo Horvat (50% retained)
    Luke Schenn

    To VAN: 2023 1st rd
    Fabian Lysell
    Craig Smith

Edit: Draft simulation results for VAN:

    1st rd:

3rd: Matvei Michkov or Leo Carlsson
    32nd: Samuel Honzek (BOS)

  20. Has any player ever got traded but then resigns with their former team right after the season? LOL.

  21. They need to be looking elsewhere Boston is not a good trading partner, they will do much better dealing horvat to the Kraken (highly unlikely) but you never know especially and I know this is hypothetical Shane Wright would be involved, even Detroit would be a way better trading partner than Boston let's hope the Canucks management doesn't screw the pooch on this one

  22. Boston 1st round pick might be enough for Towes. Because no one else will give a first rounder for Towes. HOR will get more from another team that Boston dont have.
