Man, growing up as a teenager with Miller as our goalie was fucking awesome. Dude always played hard and did everything he could to help Buffalo win. We had such a small window in the mid 00s where we should have won a Cup for him. He deserved it.

I remember watching him in the 2010 Olympics. He was like a national hero during that time. He got tons of press. If I remember correctly, the first time the Sabres played the Rangers at MSG after the Olympics, they gave him a standing ovation.

Miller always struck me as a great guy. I remember the one game against the Leafs when he accidentally shot the puck through a camera hole in the glass and hit a Toronto camera man. Dude was nice enough to go over to check on him afterwards and gave him a stick after the game. Class act..
Man how sad is it to have had 20+ years with 2 exceptional goaltenders, 7 Vezinas and have made only 1 final, and missed the playoffs almost half of those years..
