Carlo injured in Bruins' win over Rangers + All-Star Pastrnak

The Boston Bruins won again, this time beating the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden.

Patrice Bergeron suited up a night after taking a puck to the face, but Brandon Carlo was forced to exit after blocking a shot.

Ian McLaren recaps the effort, and discusses who’s up next if Carlo’s out for any length of time.

Plus, David Pastrnak was voted in as an Atlantic Division All Star, and a quick preview of Sunday’s game against the San Jose Sharks.

Carlo is my least favorite defenseman but it's not good losing him, and his minutes, for any extended time. I actually had confidence in Swayman last night.

  2. not a big Zboril fan but give him 10-12 minutes and hopefully give him some confidence, and if Carlo is out for a while, a guy like Luke Schenn be a solid pick up

  3. also seeing Taylor Hall has 3 points for 3 apples in his last 14 games, i am sure he isn't happy with that.. but must still feel great to know your team is so good that you don't have to be the guy, if he gets 25 goals and 50-55 pts that's all we need

  4. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bruins did a trade with Vancouver for either Luke Schenn, Bo Horvat or both. Remember that Fabian Lysell played for the Vancouver Giants. So, his skills are well known to fans and Canucks management. So, with other prospects and draft picks, this could get done. Bo Horvat would be a huge boost, both now and in the future.

Horvat and Schenn would provide a major boost for the Cup run this season.

The only question would be getting Horvat to sign a longer term deal, while also having Pasta under contract.
But IF they could figure out the salary cap crunching, then the Bs could get an excellent chance of getting another Stanley Cup for Bergeron and Krecji AND set themselves up for the future!
