Soon as Jets got healthy, and the young guys hungry to stay on the team got replaced with the Bums who have job security, things started going down hill. Vets who don't pull their weight, need to be replaced with young hungry guys, and if we are honest, there are a couple from last few games we can point to. Doesn't matter who we get at the deadline. If the urgency isn't there nothing will save this team.

LOL GOOOO JETS
Here's an idea for an off-season trade. If we can't sign Dubois long-term, Dubois may be a good 1-year (full sesson) rental in Carolina. The return could be something along the lines of 2024 1st round pick (which would be late in round 1) + Seth Jarvis.
If Dubois signed a 1 year deal at, say $8 million, the Jets could retain $2 or $3 million to make the deal work for Carolina. That could work for both teams. Give Carolina a stud center for a full season to try and win a cup, and give us a decent return. That may be the best we can do at this point. Or else we'll let him walk for nothing.
