Reminded me of the games these two teams would play in the sixties, I would root for George, Johnny , Frank etal my brother would root for Guy, Jacque , Henry etal and back then Montreal always seemed to win. lol

I just realized Zach Hyman, yes former leaf, ZACH HYMAN, is tied with Mitch MARNER in points, and Auston MATTHEWS in goals. That is one of most insane stats I have ever seen. And we are 48 games in. Dude makes barely half of what those guys each make.

It looked more like one team lost it than the other team won it. I'm not taking anything away from the Canadiens who played a determined game; the Leafs are a very skilled team but they lack work ethic, grit, and drive to overcome adversity.
Sure the puck bounced around and Montreal got lucky but those are excuses.There is something wrong with this team. They don't have heart. Maybe change the Captaincy like the Jets did?

Matt’s and JT, that OT loss was on you guys, not trying to be a jerk but Matt’s was floating in neutral ice while pitlick was wheeling…., Matt’s should have recognized that and back checked him or go for a change if you’re gassed, but you can’t give pitlick that much time and space buddy…. JT, you got caught flat-footed in the defensive zone, you should’ve started skating backwards earlier as soon as you saw him rushing towards you you should’ve matched his speed backwards even if your paths intersect like 2 feet in front of the net it’s still better than him beating you and getting around you for a hard shot on net…. Take pitlick to the blue paint in that situation buddy there no other option….. Yeah, both you guys looked
