  1. The rumors of laffy for Bo were laughable, but Shane Wright? Idk man, now we're just getting ridiculous… not saying it wouldn't be wicked though hehe

  2. I don't think Seattle would do it and I wouldn't do it if I were the Canucks either. The guy has David Legwand at best written all over him. There's a reason he dropped in the draft and it obviously wasn't his size. He was criticized for his lack of compete level and the Canucks have enough plays like that. He sounds like JT Miller all over again.

  3. The Canucks really shouldnā€™t trade Bo at all. They should find the money to sign him. Trade Miller and if you canā€™t, waive him. But if theyā€™re going to trade Bo, Seattle is not the best option.

  4. Gio it's nice to see you slowed down the epilogue for the newbies, and bye. LOL. Ya Ronnie Francis was one hell of a player and appears to be one great G.M. already. If they can get Bo locked up for an $8 mil x7 year contract they would be sitting pretty. If it only cost them Shane Wright and maybe a first round pick (and a crappy one at that) then they will really be a threat to win the cup. Bo has been a very underrated center all of his career playing behind Henrik and Petey. He will shine in Seattle and there will be a lot of people surprised by his success. Not me. Bring it on, this would be a really good trade for both teams. Hope it happens for Bo's sake and it will give me a team to cheer for for the playoffs, always appreciated how Bo has conducted himself on and off the ice, he is a winner. Shane has obviously a high level of skill and talent but i question his mind set. Junior is one thing but the pro level is another, the good news is he is just a kid and his mindset can mature into a winning attitude like Bo's. Very intriguing trade idea.

  5. I don't understand why fans get click baited so quickly when they have time on their own hands to do the research and check if this is even true lmao šŸ¤£

  6. Sending Shane Wright to VAN is probably the worse thing you can do for his development. VAN is a complete mess, from the owner, management, staff and to the dressing room. Wright needs to be on a team with strong management and supporting staff. His development is going to fail in Vancouver. If itā€™s Wright that does get sent to VAN, flip him for Semic RHD.

  7. Horvat for Wright is fair based off of the over all age group of Seattle. Most of their top 9 forwards are 25-32. Only Beniers, Tolvanen and Geekie are under 25. Wright is only 19 and likely wonā€™t develop as fast as Beniers did. Vancouver has time to wait with Pettersson and Hughes both being under 25. Even Seattleā€™s defensemen are in that exact same age group. They really arenā€™t that young of a team and look like they want to win now.

Horvat is not the type to make excuses, heā€™s the captain the Canucks chose to lead after Henrik and for good reason. He leads by example. And at 27 there is still room to improve. You donā€™t see these types of players become available very oftenā€¦ The Vancouver management and ownership are just simple. They chose Miller over Horvatā€” if it wasnā€™t for them we wouldnā€™t even be having this discussion and Miller would be playing somewhere else this trade deadline and heading into the offseason as a UFA.. So here Vancouver is again strapped to a bad contract, but even worse off because of the toxic behaviors behind the player who signed it. Our bad fortune is an opportunity for another teams success. Might as well capitalize.

If not, I think Detroit might be a good candidate for Bo to play, whether or not itā€™s via trade or free agency. Him and Larkin down the middle sounds straight pesky!

  8. I think Shane Wright has a really toxic personality (from what I've seen), and it does not blend well with the talent he does have.
