When the Edmonton Oilers were struggling in the early part of the season, their games were often plagued by slow starts and sloppy finishes. The Oilers rolled into Vancouver on Saturday night and Connor McDavid immediately got things started with a goal just over one minute into the game. The goal was McDavid’s 40th of the season in just his 48th game, making him the fastest player to reach the 40-goal mark since Pavel Bure did so in 48 games during the 1999-00 season.

It was a game that I'm glad Edmonton won but would've been fine if they lost.
1999-00 season.?
Bruce is a multimillionaire and 2nd all time to Bowman. Van is a sad org indeed, But "Sad win"?? In a world with starving homeless people within 150 feet from most all people, this just doesn't fit my definition of sad.
I don't mind… Bruce was done dirty but a win is a win and this is hockey not soap opera
