I’m hoping Coop’s strategy is, “We’re gonna go EN so often during the season, that when we pull it in the playoffs, and the boys have stepped it up a notch, the reps will pay off big.”
Otherwise, yeah, it’s frustrating to watch

ENs happen, the bigger problem seems to be that we aren’t getting much if any scoring chances on the 6-on-5, and often it seems as if no one knew the goalie was pulled nor the intended strategy.
I still think it’s a good idea, because it tells the team we’re still trying to win this, but it doesn’t seem like they’re going about it in the correct way.
