Islanders 5th round pick from 2020 William Dufour is getting his first shot at the NHL. How pumped am I and what should we look for/expect from his first NHL game? #Isles
Dufour has been growing consistently this year. Started off slow in October with 3 points (all goals in 7 games) November 8 points (4G 4A) in 11 games December 8 points (4G 4A) in 12 games And now in January, he went on a run of 9 points in 10 games. He seems like the type of player who may start slow in the NHL but gets himself up to speed very quickly.
First Holmstrom, then Raty, now Dufour….can't help but be a little suspicious of the old man's motivation. Unusual for the "if you have time use it" guru…maybe he is talking a hard look at the season his team is going through and starting to realize that the clock is ticking louder.
They call him up against the #1 NHL only to bench him after 1 mistake. What a joke of an organization the isles are with that loser Lou as GM. Funny thing is, he looked great in the 1st period. The only period the team played well. The leadership in the isle organization is a joke. DuFour has more AHl pro points in his first 1/2 season than Holmstrom has total in 2 pro years. Holmstrom sucks!!!

It won’t last more then 8 games because they will lose another year of control
