    The exact results we thought we'd get with the Norris injury. I'm the eternal optimist with this damn team but I've finally thrown in the towel on the season now without Norris

    All of us that wanted a coaching change after 10 games are now being proven as correct. I am convinced that we would be in a wild card spot if we would have gotten a decent coach in here. We have the talent, our top 6 is one of the best in the NHL, I know Norris was injured but still every team, without exceptions, will have at some point or another one of their top six injured. Just part of the game. Our D is really not all that bad, they just need to be coached properly. With a coach that knows how to get already great players better, I am convinced we would be right now in a wild card spot. But unfortunately Dorion was hell bent set to keep DJ and now he will lose his job over that when new ownership steps in.

    Ottawa beat no contenders? uhhh… Boston twice? and maybe they are moving Holden up to get him some looks for trade? or maybe they moved JBD down to help fix his clearly destroyed confidence? Maybe you should have your hissy fit BEFORE you log on. Good thing you guys aren't running locked on Buffalo or Edmonton…. they did worse with more. I've been a die hard fan since day 1, and to be honest, I'm more disappointed with this episode, than I am with the Senators.

    Does this team have a maturity problem off the ice? All the players seem to get along and want to stay. We've seen the videos of them out at the bars, goofing around, Brady talking about Giroux at the tables in a recent interview, the "go have a beer" comment by Giroux himself. It's all minor details but I do question if the boys have been playing a bit too hard away from the rink.

    Horrible news about Norris, but he has basically been out all season and 2 weeks ago we thought we could make a push to fight for the wildcard spot with Norris still out indefinitely. Now we are back to that roster from 2 weeks ago with the addition of Joseph. This season should still be a significant improvement over past seasons assuming they don't keep playing like this for the rest of the year. I'm usually #TeamPillzy but I think this is an overreaction from him.

    I am really annoyed they called up Ridley. Not because I am not excited about him. But he needs time in the AHL. Why the flying-F did they not bring up Soko as a reward for his great play?! Soko is RFA. We need to know what to do. Really pissed off about this.

    I think the fact that Norris has been rehabbing his shoulder for the past 3 months will help a lot with his recovery time after surgery. Obviously whatever is going on is still a problem but you have to think his shoulder is pretty strong at this point which should make for a quicker recovery than if he did surgery right away.

    Word from the rock where newfs from my hometown he should of got that sugary a long time ago and he would be almost ready to go already if he got it from the beginning! Bad call ok management big time! Risked news’s health for two f ing games wo wo sad man he’s gonna be gone a long time and he’ll never be the same again especially with that type of player that scores I really hope he can start it up again next year I really do! Your tuff newf but make your own decisions buddy! I really hope Ridley can make a difference it would be exciting seeeing him come up and play big and they squeeze into a wild card spot

    As far as I'm concerned, The season does not come at a loss. The greatest asset is still to come. New ownership. Finally removing this Childs play of pretending and hopefully relaced with structure and commitment. We need an identity that were proud of.

    I can't see why Debrincat would want to stick around now, or if it would be worth it for the Sens to spend a lot on him with no team success immediately imminent. Too bad though, he's such a great player and I'd love him to be here. Regardless, I can't wait for the Sens to make the playoffs again whenever that happens, sigh.
