Great game tonight, laf did really well and I hope this will put a jump in his game

  2. matt091282

Igor has come closer to scoring a goal than Sammy Blais.

  3. spaideyv

“[Shesty] didn’t get one of the three stars but he was a star all night long” TELL EM SAM

  4. legend1124

Whether it was a third string or a starter, they needed this kind of win more than anything and I am so damn happy they all came out flying. Really hate that Igor didn’t score tho I just about leapt out of my seat the second attempt

  5. Guyfromnewyork95

    Holy shit Igor 😂

On a serious note, I’m super impressed with Panarin’s defense this season. Not that he’s ever been inept on that side but he’s shown much more willingness to backcheck, take guys out of the play, and have his stick in the right position

  6. kingfarouk

Man that game was sick, I started freaking out following the puck from shesty when he launched it to the EN and then seeing it miss by inches I felt a gut punch, I can’t wait to see him get the ENG one of these days. What a game let’s fucking go rangers and let’s kick some ass in Toronto on Wednesday!

  7. fictionalreality08

It was incredible to watch Laf skate tonight.

  8. greysfordays

if igor does end up getting a goal I have no idea how I’m gonna react but with that close call tonight I think it’ll be somewhere along the lines of drain my entire bank account to put a rangers to win it all this season bet, having to take PTO due to having to stay up with might have to call my doctor for a longer than 4 hrs issue, etc

  9. darkgrayallalone

That was a fun win. The kids were great. Everyone needed a game like this tonight.

  10. Academic-Value1876

Kid line was great so I fully expect them to be broken up 40 minutes into the next game.

Kids looked great, keep them together and you will get RESULTS from all 3

  11. ohno21212

Man did I need that after the Bills game yesterday. Its hockey season babies.

  12. BuckysBand

Chytil becoming an empty net assassin like Carl Hagelin

  13. Zer0flames

Something about the way the Kid Line forechecks and cycles is so satisfying. It’s always been fun, but if they start breaking into the slot or finding the seam they’re going to be very successful.

And credit where it’s due, Gallant played them more than the Trocheck line.

    Mika is fucking awesome

  14. FlyAccording3384

    Laffy 😀🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🚨🚨‼️‼️

  15. Keep the Goodrow-Trocheck-Vesey line together!

  16. Crimson3312

Rangers don’t have to share energy with the Giants anymore is what happened

  17. feedmekombucha

Watching the postgame now. Does Mika wear a lucky hat? I wonder how long he’s keeping that unwashed.

  18. DryProgress4393

Just fantastic all around. Hope we play as well in Toronto.

  19. darkgrayallalone

Still disappointed that Igor came so close but didn’t score 😔

I hope he gets one soon.

Did GG just say he’s questioning the lines? Come on

  22. FlyAccording3384

gallant morose as hell in the presser lol

  23. MarsHotelSouth

Stfu Gallant. How are you going to say “I like the way we played” every time we embarrassed ourselves in November, but then tonight turn around and complain in the press conference that we didn’t play well after a 6-2 W

  24. koishroom

that might be my favorite game from us this month holy shit. nothin’ better than a solid, feel good win. saw some great shifts from the kid line, laf finally netted another goal(!), couldn’t be happier LFG

  25. whatsaburneraccount

GG: “we played poorly. Yeah we won 6-2 but now I’m questioning the lines”

    Dude…

  26. ItsHeadbangerG

    Keep. These. Lines.

Let’s let the team settle into themselves and stop shaking up the lines in attempt to smash bits together to force chemistry. The kid line is still working wonders, and Panarin-Zib-Kreids is where it’s at. Shit even Jimmy, Tro and Goodrow was looking pretty good. The team looked alive, and I wanna see them alive every night.

    See ya Wednesday!

  27. dankeykanng

Gallant’s shtick of backing up the team when they look like ass and playing down their wins would be cool if it wasn’t so transparent.

Just tell the reporters you don’t want to be there m8.

  28. Envelopen

For those who find it hard to understand gallant hes talking about how the forwards tend to abandon their defensive assignment and leave em wide open. This was the majority of the 2nd period. Even defenseman get hungry for the puck and move up too much leaving too many odd man rushes. It is too far into the season to still be having this particular issue, it wasnt until the penguins series last playoffs that we corrected that and tightened the defense.

  29. Nuevayork22

Was at msg. If Igor scored there msg would’ve went into an absolute frenzy

  30. NSNSprite

Really satisfying win. But, let’s talk about the real issue here…

Igor was literally the closest to score on the empty net for five minutes there when we pay 18 other guys to put the puck on net. Honestly, when we need to pull the goalie, keep him on the ice and put him at the point. Gotta get him his first goal somehow.

  31. ATWiggin

    – Love the fact that greasy goals were scored tonight. GG was right in the post game show, it’s good to see them rewarded for playing like that. Only way to get East-West guys to stop and play an honest North-South game isn’t to coach them to death, it’s to see the guys score those goals playing a North-South game. You gotta inception the idea that they WANT to play that style.

    – Kids line needs to be a permanent thing. I don’t care what Kakko looks like on the top line. I don’t wanna hear about Chytil centering Bread. This is the only lineup that has our 1OA playing like a 1OA while also allowing Chytil and Kakko to succeed.

    – Top line took a while to gel but there could be something cooking here. There’s definitely moments where Kreids forgets he’s the RW on the line and where Bread tries a patented no look pass to no one but they’re our highest producing forwards for a reason. They’re good at hockey.

    – Foxy.

    – That’s 2 times now that Igor has missed a goal by less than 6 inches. He’s gonna get 1 eventually.

    – Harpur victim of 1 of the most egregious phantom tripping penalties I’ve ever seen. He literally got all puck and Tkachuk fell after jumping over him. Had some good break out passes when he had opportunities to just chip the puck up and out. And I also appreciate how big and mean he is.

  32. EarthWonderful

Laf goal and despite the 2 goals against, Igor still finished with a .943. All about it. LGR

  33. Hionhelium87

My gym was playing Laffy Taffy during my class this morning so I am attributing his goal to them.

  34. Key-Tip-7521

The Rangers had an overall team win tonight. Lots of Rangers got a point. The ~~Kid Line~~ Yute line got a couple of goals. Laf finally ends his dry spell. Deserving goal. Two goals I loved tonight; Laf’s and Jimmy “the born survivor” Vesey’s goals. Dirty and >!GRITTY !< goal. Fox was ho hum tonight. Needs to be in the Norris conversation. Mika scored not one but two goals. Mika Zibanejad, “It’s a Power Play Goal!”. Igor almost did something that I, [https://media.tenor.com/JANAWEo4s6QAAAAM/ricky-bobby-talladega-nights.gif](https://media.tenor.com/JANAWEo4s6QAAAAM/ricky-bobby-talladega-nights.gif) if that went in.

The lines looked good. Just dont mess with them Turk. (whispers) Oh wait he questioned them?
Overall, well executed played game. The Rangers needed a good game after the previous loss. The Panthers, woof. What’s happened to them? Not to insult them, damn. Different team from last year. More importantly, Rangers win, got the two points. Which is important and they get to keep. And the Islanders lost… A Nutha One. Their Uh Dis As Stuh! Good win for the Rangers tonight. Onto the Leafs on Wednesday. God Save the King. Back afta dis.
