Just as long as we dont go for toews. I mean unless chicago is willing to retain all of his salary and give him up for a third and a 5th or something
If we are going to make a move at the deadline anyway, I would want to give up assets so that we can get someone long term
Why, why would you throw away the future every year to get a player who will cost us a lot more than they are worth. We have a good team so why do we meed someone. You say that he could bee a diference maker and win us the cup. How many teams have gone down this road and very few if any have won the cup. I suppose you will go back 50 years and find a few, but how do you know the team won because of this one person. To winit takes the whole team to olay well. Just so you know Edmonton has two really great players and no cup to show for it. All you can think of is trade, trade, trade away the future. Or do you do this for more views?
