Sabres' Owen Power Blasts Home OT-winner Off Gorgeous Backhand Feed From Tage Thompson
Watch as Buffalo Sabres defenceman Owen Power scores his first goal of the season blasting home a one-time shot past Dallas Stars goalie Jake Oettinger for the OT-winner, off a beautiful backhand feed from teammate Tage Thompson.
The Stars were just waiting for Thompson to make a move…. but not that move. A few more goals like that, and teams will stop collapsing everything on Tage.
The Sabres now have wins within the last month against the best in the NHL (Boston on 1/31) and the best in the Western Conference (Dallas) in overtime…BOTH on the road! Take notice…they're three points out of the final Wild Card in the East with games in hand. That playoff drought looks like it's going to end this spring!
Thrilled for that young man! He has been amazing. Unbelievable talent and seems like he is a veteran player already. Best of luck to him in the future. Let’s go Buffalo!🦬🦬
I remember the many, many years of the undersized Sabres forwards and D-men. These guys are SOOOO tall. Remind me of the good ol' days with King Kong Korab and Josh Guevremont

Lol what are Dallas doing here, lets Tuch just walk into the zone and then sleepwalks around like it's a pre-season exhibition game.
Anybody know who screams at 0:16 and on the replay ar 0:49? Or what they say?
That is his first goal of the season? He has played 43 games this year.

Buffalo looks really really good. Problem is they probably still won't make post season
Xhekaj > Power
I'm jealous of anyone with the last name of Power. Too bad his parents didn't name him Max.
Heiskanen watched that go by and thought…"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
