PHILADELPHIA FLYERS: Flyers PICK Tyson Foerster with the 23rd pick! Niskanen RETIRES! Patrick Laine?

The Flyers had their draft tonight and they picked a winger from Barrie Colts named Tyson Foerster. The wing is said to be a good shooter and goal scoerer with not too great skating. Solid pick at 23 by the Flyers with some work to be done with the kid.

There has also been some contract extensions including Robert Hagg, Brian Elliott, and Justin Braun. Matt Niksanen also announced he was retiring leaving 5.5 million to the Flyers.

  1. Foerster also has a small consistency problem in his game and in Philadelphia that will be a problem at lest there's no pressure like Patrick and JVR.

  2. I like the pick of Foerster. True, maybe not the best of skaters but goal scorers are born, not made. Great shooter, and is able to get to high traffic areas to put the puck in the net. And he's still growing size wise. Fans clamored for a sniper. Fletcher tried to grant them their wish.

  3. Hopefully we put in an offer sheet to hall. I’d like to see a big trade possibly voracek and zamula for Johnny hockey or laine for TK – raffl and Myers or If eichel becomes available I’d offer the house with coots – sanheim there pick of 2 prospects – a goalie not named hart – 2021 1st rounder.
