I thought we were gonna get goalied after the first period. Those are the most frustrating games, when a middling goaltender somehow becomes the best player in the world for a single game.
Honestly, respect to the bruins. Really fun game to watch. Really exited for Montembault, Barron and Dach as a habs fan.

Don't get to watch too many Habs games given the market i live in and the season theyre having but everytime ive talked to a fan they always bring up that young man in net. Not necessarily being lights out but exceeding his expectations.

Had Habs had a full lineup possibly diff story. They played hard w the guys they had but this Bruins team is a legit Wagon. Wow.
Lately Montreal goalie Montembault has been playing like Carey Price. The whole team of the Canadiens gave a great effort despite missing many regulars with injuries. Boston and their seasoned veterans are flawless. Pastrnak 1G and 3 Assists is now second leading scorer in the NHL. Also Bruins with 80 points already. They are on pace to beat the legendary 76-77 Canadiens who had 66 wins and only 8 losses. Long way to go though.
Good old rivalry game. Good game to both teams
Even when Boston wins they lose one of the most hated teams in the NHL.

Boston didn't even try and still win . Now they'll rest the top players for a couple of months nths and have a healthy team going into playoffs . It's there cup this year and only waiting on the cup engraving now . Nobody is goin g to stop them nobody !

Montembault has been everything you can ask from a tender for some time now, his play kept the habs in the game. This is exactly why all the numbers people use to say who the top netminders are do not tell you near as much as people think they do about the actual tender. The Bruin forecheck, their cycle, is just top notch this year. Its stupid to try and pick cup winners at this point but they look better than anyone else right now.
