I see absolutely no problem, going with a Montembeault/Allen duo, for the foreseeable future.
Well that is good news for Caufield and the Habs. I wish him a speedy recovery . Hopefully he can get it done before spring so he can enjoy the nice summer weather and get back to form for the fall. The sooner the better.
Primo doesn"t have it yet ! Both Monty && Jake A. are good for one and 2 more years! Cap frendy and quite capable
I still say that it's not probable that he will come back at 100%. Especially if you're an athlete, small built, and the opposing players smash into you every single night. Those players know his weak point, his shoulder, and they wont forget about it. Brisson is talking like that because he wants a 8×8 contract signed ASAP. I'm 38 and I had a shoulder operation at 19, and I still feel some pain to this day…and nobody smashes into me night after night.
shave your beard and moustache off, you need a haircut, again go get it
have you cleaned your armpits today ? what have I always told you ? armpits, never forget on your armpits
also washup your t shirt, it's getting dirty, again
how often are you actually washing-up your clothes ? I hope, it's not 1 time per month as it had been when you were 19
in this way you'll never get a girl
I'm still mad because of yesterday match
montreal played so good, the guys gave all heart to the match and suzuki did the disastroues failure when he lost the face off and then he blocked montembleau is sight
Allen might not be the best goalie, but he's one of the good guys, and a fellow countryman that tries to do good in his community.
the people with the most cancerous comments about him are all people who would not stop half the pucks he stops.
This is great news, hopefully they keep losing increase their chances of Connor Bedard, and then we can see Cole, Caufield, Nick Suzuki, and Connor Bedard on the same line next year
St. Louis is coaching an OHL or AHL team right now that can go into action if COVID 24 hits
3.85M for a backup that hasn't started more than 46 gams in years is not a team friendly contract.
The fact that he scored 26 goals with the injury, is pretty amazing
Another hockey woke commentators on TSN , Lebrun and old fart read think the Habs are tanking, read laughing when talking about Caufield getting an operation sooner than later! Arseholle read couldn’t stop laughing saying if they were really not tanking, they would play him. I get they’re pissed that the team with the four most overpaid players on the great Toronto team still can’t beat the Habs, who also beat Tampa and almost won against Boston, that’s why I will never watch old read on ‘that’s hockey’ anymore……no more woke jerks on tv for me…🦨
Primeau is 23 he’s fine
I would value a Dr’s opinion on this subject matter a lot more than his agent.
That's what I want for the rest of the season : good team performances in defeat, lose maybe 2 out of 3 to get a good pick
With his value in the toilet, I think seeing what Yzerman expects for Zadina might be worth seeing. If it's as cheap as I expect, might be worth the long shot
Montembeault has been phenomenal, playing out of his mind good goaltending. Look at his past games, .941 against the leafs, .974 against the Rangers, .962 against the jets, .947 against the Islanders, among a multitude of others. He was a top 10 goalie at the start of the season then had a rough patch there. Jake Allen? His numbers aren't great but its the quality of goals going in, bunch of five hole ones he ABSOLUTELY should've had, it was a goalie being beat clean with a shot he can see and he was getting those far too often for an excuse really. I love Jake Allen but from the perspective of a goalie myself, he wasn't given very challenging shots and still let in a bit too many. Montembeault, that kid… he is going to have a tremendous career with the Habs, I feel it. Montembeault should be named the starter, he's so good. Plus this team is in the middle of a rebuild, once Monty needs to be a great goalie, he absolutely will be and I know he will be the answer the Carey Price's (unfortunately… most likely) retirement.
