Only positive is Garland was a beast all game and has been consistently good for quite
a bit now that he actually gets utilized. Solid defensively, created some great scoring chances, got us a PP, scored and stopped a potential SHG with a nice block.

but today’s loss and Columbus win over edmonton restored the faith
This team is terrible. Let’s not pretend to be angry this is what we need to get that idiot of an owner to realize it’s time to rebuild. Horrible goaltending I don’t think I’ve seen goaltending this bad and I’ve been a fan since early 80s when John Garret was in goal. Defense is pathetic – we have one decent guy on the back end in Hughes. We have no muscle up front, nobody intimidates the other teams. Our skill players are softer than toilet paper. Special teams the worst in the league and on top of all that a dysfunctional front office and a coach that comes in hated by the fans and probably players. I would say only Petey and Hughes should be untouchable but I don’t know anymore. It’s as bad as I’ve ever seen it in Vancouver and now we aren’t even being entertained with goals except goals against. Hopefully the next game we get people throwing their jerseys on the ice
