They saw what’s happening in the NBA and said “lemme try that”
i'd jump on jack hughes all by himself but what do i know? some suggested they should have sat on the kuzmenko signing announcement for a couple of weeks which makes sense to me. did alvin just fall off the turnip truck?
Hurricanes is Scott Morrow, 1st , maybe koivenen or some other B prospect.
NYR Schneider 1st, Kravtsov.
That's the ideal, unfortunately, all trade options we lose the best player for mid level futures; late round 1st, end of entry level rfas, the best part is whichever D we can get.
Based on what the Canucks are asking for, I am pretty sure we will lose him for NOTHING. Honestly, a 2nd rounder is at best what Horvat is worth.
Maybe Horvat for Simon Nemec (2nd overall RD)?
What the dumpster fire crowd running the Canucks want for Horvat is a joke. They will wind up getting diddly for him.
🤣🤣🤣🤣. Everyone knows they NEED to trade Horvat !!! There’s no way they get all that. The Red Wings should offer Hronek and the 2024 first…and Vancouver should take it.
I think other teams will look elsewhere for trades that are actually of this planet and when Vancouver finally drops their price playoff teams are already capped out
As a Representative of the Blue Jackets I would like to offer Gus Nyquist plus Jake Bean and a 2nd around Pick for Bo Horvat and whatever other player makes it work but we want a sign gurantee!!
Quit frankly, it's just a bargaining skill. If you are not set the price tag higher, you will never get what you want.
Middlestadt Johnson and portillo. And a 3
I already have little to no faith in this management group, they need to knock this trade out of the park. I swear if they trade for a reclamation project that went high in a draft years ago like Kotkaniemi or a guy like Carlo being the main part of the return I'll be so disappointed. Keeping him would be a mistake as much as it hurts to admit. I just hope they get a good prospect and 1st in return. I feel like its been ages since the Canucks have had multiple first round picks and its depressing to think about. I could see a team like Nashville being interested too
I think this will end up not being a rental but rather a sign-and-trade kind of deal, where the Canucks and a trading partner would agree on a deal, and then let the agent negotiate with the new team, before the Canucks announcing the new signed contract and the trade at the same time. That seems to be the best-case scenario for the Canucks, but of course, other teams may refuse.
I'd be happy with a 1st and a young legit top 4 dman. Maybe if you wanna throw in a "nobody" center thats fine but for sure the 1st round and top 4 dman.
I just wish they would hurry and trade Horvat and Schenn , its just like Miller last year it goes on and on . Can always try to resign them in the summer if they make some cap room .
I’d offer a first, that’s about it. The guy is just a rental
The deadline is far enough away for management to ask for the moon, and letting teams talk to Bo right now would just shrink the market for him. If this came out a week away from the deadline I'd be worried, but let them ask a crazy price for now. You can always come down.
Keep the people distracted.
Whoever is leaking Canucks info on Vancouvers payroll needs to be fired & delt with asap… they are adding more kindling to this dumpster fire.
Namestikov, Colton, Foote and some picks or prospects for Horvat and Schenn(50% retained)
