I’m just your average listener ya know. Die-hard Calgary Flames fan from the same South Silicon Valley town as Wolfie here. It’s tough times in the relatively insignificant role of an emotionally invested Flames fan. Hey D Wolf left Stockton, Alberta (despite the proximity to our home; I imagine this proxy Stockton was more desirable than the alternative) for Everett and was doing great. Let’s check-in with our friendly neighbors in Mountain View (Google) on the YouTube’s and see some killer saves. Oh, some youngster talking a bit, I’ve heard the answers.
Well let’s give the video 119 views so everyone in the sports media world feels motivated to stay alive. I covered those Ducks in the 🏈🏐🏃🏼♀️🏀while studying journalism at the U of Oregon. So yeah Wolfie ya still answer questions well and all.
Host guy; my short term memory with hard data never really developed. I keep it qualitative with the journalism and sociology studies. I didn’t just hear all 48 minutes; I listened (or reverse; whichever is more cliche).
Working my arse off to earn an MA in Sociology from UC Berkeley is a blessing and a curse. Understanding society can be a rather depressing field. It certainly prepares you well enough to call BS when you hear some Toronto guy selling a program of hogwash. This guy with a name also lost to me, had a lot of extremely thoughtful responses to offer. These psych kids, counselors and therapists are often making a ton just writing down ‘do what you already know is better.’ If you put a swear word in your self help book it’ll sell even better.
Thus if there was any other social scientist/journalist trained Flames fan from the sparsely populated county of San Benito in existence….well that’s still me just a quantum Schrödinger's cat parallel type deal. I didn’t intend to listen much; and this phone has a lot of buttons.

The birth of the San Jose Sharks became the start of my Calgary Flames fandom (one of those contrarian 10 year old brats). Overall the Sharks have submitted quite nicely throughout the Flames eh!? meh bah! fluctuations in performance.
Ultimately I doubt the Silicon Lobo would have been available to draft if the Sharkie ice hockey influence. So thanks Sharks. You gave us Miikka Kiprisoff off your bench; and now you have literally created the barrier to all future success. So thanks Sharks. Suckers.
