They ACCIDENTALLY broadcast a hilarious hot mic

Before last nights Colorado Avalanche vs Washington Capitals game even began, during the pre game, the Colorado feed accidentally broadcasted an absolutely hilarious hot mic moment of Marc Moser’s conversation about Seagulls at the Colorado dump and where they live. Saying some banger lines like “where is their house?” and “they don’t live in a nest, they have webbed feet”. Just golden stuff here. As for the game, it was a great one that saw Nathan Mackinnon recording his 700th career point and Alex Ovechkin ripping another one from his office on a classic Ovi goal. I cover it all in todays NHL hockey highlights recap

  1. The seagull conversation is hilarious. If only I could have been in that booth….

  2. What a great back and forth. The quick thinking with webbed feet and nests was good 👍

  3. There's always a few hilarious announcer moments with Moser every season. One of my favorites that happened in the last few seasons was him air guitaring to a Grateful Dead song at home during a commercial break/intermission while Peter McNab just looks at him like, "Wtf is he doing?" and shakes his head. 😂

  4. You should do the mic from the Vancouver game last week.
The one where John Garrett gets blamed for "letting one rip" during the broadcast.
    He denied it.
And after in the locker room, they were interviewing Delia and he explained its his skate boot/full skate.
Only about 5 goalies in the league use it.
It makes a fart type noise when they push off or move in certain situations as it's a whole one piece, as opposed to the other where the blade is put onto separately.
The back up tender yelled out during the interview "it's the damn fart skate!!".
It's pretty funny how everybody was trying to figure out who and what the hell just happened. And how sure they were it was Garrett.

  5. Moser is fuckin awesome. Not being able to listen to him is the only downside of getting a job, as an usher, at ball arena. I get paid for my season tix and i still dont know if im winning. True legend.

  6. Listening to Marc “Comet’s Tail” Moser every Avs game in North Bay, Canada! He’s hilarious—a bit of a homer, but he always recognizes when the other team made a good play. Rycroft is starting to grow on me, but I miss the classic Moser-McNab tandem.
