The timing of his goals have been huge too. When the team is lagging Hyman seems to bring it. Lots of times the first goal of the game is by Hyman which is crucial.

Zach Hyman is fantastic, and was fantastic with the Leafs too. He's a player all kids should look up to model their game after.
His finishing is his weakest asset. He's solid but in no way is he elite
I'm a leafs fan but I'm not bitter he's playing well lol. He was one of my favourites and him and Kadri are my two favourite non leafs in the league. I was glad Naz won a cup and I'm glad Hymans having a big year. Plus don't forget you also signed Cambell from us so we can call that a wash.

Well when you play with McDavid anyone automatically becomes one of hte best forwards in the game. Heck even Pat Maroon scored almost 30 goals when he played with McDavid so…

Zach Hyman is definitely one of the greatest free agency signings of all-time. The fact he's locked up long-term at a pretty damned low salary makes it that much better. And to be honest, even if he falls off a cliff in the last two years of his contract it doesn't matter. He has already pretty much earned that entire contract. And he's such a damned hard worker!!! If you dream of playing in the NHL don't try to be Connor McDavid, try to be Zach Hyman kids
