Not going to discredit the Panthers but they got lucky on poor decisions made by the Bruins.

Man that Alex Lyons kid was redonk last night. He kept the Panthers in the game. Gave the guys a boost to finish in the end, he didn’t give up and inspired his teammates not to neither. He may give up the odd bad goal (last one wasn’t his fault, he was screened and he almost got it anyways). I stopped counting how many times I thought Boston was gonna score.

IMO you and Stu are way too hard on Ekblab. As a skater (don't know if you guys ever skated) he is a tall non-bowed legged skater; with that style you are never going to be a fast skater. In addition, defensemen are never going to be able to keep up with a forward going in the opposite direction (Forsling as the exception). He needs to read plays a little more conservatively. I said earlier give Ekblab twenty games back from injury and see where he is. I find him skating as expected, yes, he is sometimes a defensive liability but that is the responsibility of F-winger to cover for him. What he brings to the breakout and forward rush is greatly needed, remember we are not playing the run and gun offense this year….
I went to the first Panthers bruins game earlier this season and when it was like a 2 goal game my dad started yelling "I-95 north" and "go back to Dorchester." Could only imagine how it would be if we were there last night.
we have plenty of cap space, i only see 3 players we must sign in the next 2 years and thats Forsling, Montour, and Lundell. Everyone else is not a must.
If we are going to have any hope of the Panthers making the playoffs then we need more of those clutch Sasha Barkov goals like he did in the 2nd half of last season.
