    Larkin may be asking the Wings to pay a "We're not a playoff team" tax to keep him here. He probably really wants to move on so that he can experience more success and overpricing himself may be his way of leaving and making it look like the front office is at fault. I expect him to be gone in two weeks, a trade for two 1st round picks.

    I'm sorry, he doesn't really watch the Wings much. At least not lately. Some of his answers didn't seem to gel with this years reality. Man he hates Olie Maata.

    To Maata's advantage, it is not his alone who will bear the head here. Who is his partner and which 3 are in front of him. The whole team plays poor defense throughout the court most of the time. Certainly the team has had heavy injuries that affect much more than what we fans sometimes want to see.

    Raymond is doing his 2nd year, bigger talents than himself has had a tough 2nd year. Lucas said he was burned out and he got a new coach and is trying to play by that system. However, he was in the 2nd and third line for a long time, his stats were not far from what he did in the first year.. However, he will play in the 1st and there Bert is the one who creates a lot in addition to Lark and Lucas of course, chemistry is important in a team sport.

    I cant determine which is worse: Chariot running around like a headless chicken or Copp who you wouldnt know played most nights…both huge contracts, both are my biggest disappointments.
    Why I think Larkin is over rated is he is the most dainty Red Wing I have seen in 45 years of watching. Plays zero defense, doesn't hit anyone…he plays with 1% of the passion that Yzerman did
