New York Rangers REFUSE to Endorse the Pride

Numerous NHL teams have been advertising and hosting their pride celebrations over the month of January. The NHL experienced some resistance when Ivan Provorov from the Philadelphia Flyers quietly refused to participate…and it seems this sentiment has spread to New York City.

We react to the entire New York Rangers roster refusing to wear the NHL pride jerseys. We discuss the overreaction and fake outrage in the mainstream media…by disputing an article in The Athletic which claims this is a step backwards for the NHL.

  1. I’m so proud of all individuals making a stand. Now let’s get all of this gambling nonsense out of the league. There are some nhlers banned for life because of gambling and now they endorse gambling on their fan base.

  2. I'm a life long Rangers fan and I'm glad they didn't wear those jerseys. Put up lights, have puck drops and everything else but leave my jersey out of this!

  3. Ive been watching the nhl since 1968 in Minnesota with my beloved North Stars Now the nhl hsd gone gay IM DONE

  4. I’m a long time Flyers fan and always hated the Rangers, but I now have a great respect for their players except when they play my team.😃

  5. The New York Rangers are already a Hometown Team, so this for me has resolidified my fandom for the Broadway Blueshirts! Hockey Pride OVER Gay Pride!

  6. I despise the RAGS as a die hard Islanders fan..but this right here is damn honorable..LGR!

  7. Good on the Rangers players and especially the Russian player on the Flyers who took the first step, now let's see the rest of the teams to stand up to this insanity.

  8. Never heard from you before. I’m beyond impressed. Do you come up with these comments yourself or have a team of writers. I’m very impressed. Excellent commentary and quite funny also. Well done sir.

  9. Qatar World Cup banned rainbow 🌈
Anything and the NHL NFL NBA Starbucks, Ford, DNC CNN
all of them were silent. Clowns 🤡 🤡 🤡
Fab gay Latin man for Trump putting us first not globalists 🤡

  10. Its not about "human rights" – LGBTQ is an aggressive political and conformity movement. Shame on NHL for forcing people to choose political sides

  11. The rainbow is a symbol of God's promise to never flood the entire Earth again, not a symbol of some of the sins that created the flood

  12. Politics should be kept out of professional sport. Making pride jerseys is just a cheap PR stunt. It’s an empty gesture that doesn’t really support LGBT in any material way. The league just wants to appear virtuous. It isn’t.

  13. Good for the Rangers. First the LBTQ EIEIO wanted acceptance. Now they want compliance. I'll never support a movement that is condemned by God. Screw the woke media.

  14. We have rights also, and if we don't support it Pride issue that is our God Fearing Right!!! The Bible rules what I support! Jesus died for me I must follow his word!!!

  15. Don't regularly watch the NHL let along the Rangers. But this Missouri boy will be sporting my new Lady Liberty Rangers hat when it arrives.

  16. All Hockey Players must take a stand & unite on this New Agenda being forced on them…..its worst than slavery. This is not what Hockey is about….this Pride agenda sounds like a dictatorship & All Hockey Player must unite against this, Hockey is the oldest sport in America & is not the NFL, NBA & MLB…. 🇺🇸❤️🏒

  17. I’m still struggling to make the connection between hockey and what happens in someone’s private sexual life… 🧐

  18. Nooo! We need to disband this original 6 team and send every player to re-education camps…how else will the tyranny of woke be taken seriously?

  19. Good on the rangers. I don’t know why we need to have these WOKE messages throw at our face everyday. Pride, Color of your skin. Especially in the US, little kids are taught about same sex and Color of your skin. It’s sickening

  20. No one has to accept anything. They don't have to like it, accept it, or even acknowledge its existence if they don't want to. Ranger fan for over 5 decades and I couldn't be more proud of this bunch.
