  1. A tuft of hair jutting forth from Thor's upper back there. Tremendous! CRACK!! He could knock out a elephant with that right.

  2. Outside the ring Richardson was a thug and a bully, so it's good to see him getting flattened like this. Henry Cooper did a similar job on him.

  3. Look how Ingemar turns away his head all the time. Difficult to see on this film but he was bleeding heavily from an eye since early rounds. A headbutt it was. Richardsson had bad manners in the ring and if you look carefully you can see how he tries to headbutt Ingemar all the time. He really got what he deserved in this fight.

  4. Dick Richardson was a big strong crude fighter who knew very well how to play rough. Mike DeJohn who beat Dick commented that Dick " Head butted even better than I can!" Ingo's jabbing quite well in this fight, in some he hardly bothers at all and he can still punch. Dick at least made the European title pay.

  5. You notice just how many times Dick's head goes into Ingo's face. American heavyweight Mike DeJohn who beat Dick said "Richardson butts even more than I do!"

  6. Patterson said Ingo hit harder than Liston. Had Ingo trained harder and worked on his left hook, he would be the second Dempsey. He was strictly a jab, cross fighter, with real power in the right.

  7. Are u kidding? This guy can beat Ali? With this style of boxing? Ingmar. Can beat Ali? .. nahh.. Ali is the fastest heavyweight boxer in history…he will beat KO him like his daddy

  8. Richardson was a tough and rugged fighter but lacked the ability to develop combination punches to put his opponent on the defensive. In this fight, Richardson, like many British fighters of this decade, was comparatively slow around the ring and thus always offered a good target for an opponent. Also, with the exception of Henry Cooper, too many British heavyweights lacked the ability to deliver a single knock out blow. Richardson was a brave brawler, but not being quick on his feet or with his hands, meant that he could never take on the the best heavyweights.

  9. Dick Richardson was a strong, mean, brutal, dirty fighter. Really good! But he was a bit crude, and once that right hand connected… well then you go out.
