  1. Well, they'd better be close to finalizing that deal! The idea of Horvat coming to Boston, while it was never actually going to happen, was a pleasant fiction for a couple months. With that not happening, Pastrnak, Swayman, McAvoy, hopefully Lysell—that is the young core of the future for this team. It'll never be the same team without Marchand, Patrice, and Krejci, of COURSE, and how could it be? But they should be focused on building a solid core for the future. Just as one day, in 10-12 years, all of THESE guys will be retiring. The Bruins have always been terrible at looking to the future.
