This video is all about super prospect Connor Bedard. Bedard has scored an insane amount of goals over the past few years and is the most hyped prospect we’ve seen in hockey since Connor McDavid. I watched every goal of his from the last three seasons to try and find out what makes him different from the other top prospects in the game. Here is what I learned.

This is only his goals, he’s a fantastic playmaker aswell and I would say other than his shot that’s the best part of his game
Last May Bedford played for Canada at the U18s and scored a nice one timer goal, he does try slapshots once in a while but that’s the only time I’ve seen him score one.
What's his shot percentage? Many hockey players don't seem to have the ACCURACY Conner does. How many times do you see other players hit the goalie with their shot, and the goalie didn't really have to move much to make the 'save'.
Conner's strengths in goal scoring are accuracy, always going for the opening at the net, speed of release, and speed of the puck. When you combine those four things, all you need is opportunity, and he's such an excellent skater and stickhandler that he makes many more opportunities for himself than most other forwards.

If you can snap shot like that, whats the point of a slapshot? Snapshot is hard enough and the release is ridiculous.

They are going to put that one timer in his bag, and you better look out when that happens lol
he is very good at manipulating shooting angles and screens
The breakaway move isn't just a quick shot, as there's a very important backhand feint. He shakes and bakes a bit leaning to his weak side, then fires it in the pocket you mentioned. It only works so well because he slightly draws the goalie to the side before finishing it with his ridiculous release. Super entertaining to watch, hope he's just as electrifying in the chel.
He’s fantastic at selling the shot and then creating something else when the guys bite on it. Look up the 1st goal he scored against Medecine Hat the other night, that was just filthy lol
