Let’s go over a growing sentiment I’m seeing amongst Buffalo Sabres fans as to whether or not the team should acquire Florida Panthers forward Sam Reinhart in a trade.

  1. Would I welcome him back? Yes. I don't think it would be bad juju at all. I would believe it to be bad juju if I knew the guy was toxic as hell (coughJackcough) but Sam just wasn't.

I personally think with the way the Sabres are coached now, Sam might really thrive in the different environment as opposed to what he had to deal with before.

But am I willing to give up an arm and a leg for him? Absolutely not.

  2. I would welcome him back no doubt Sam did leave on good terms with the team I doubt he is disliked by anyone in the current Sabres Locker room. The thing is what would the Sabres trade for him if the Panthers want D Men Ryan Johnson who isn’t guaranteed to sign this offseason a first that could be a good pick if the Sabres fell off?

  3. Goes from a bottom team to a contender and now we are speculating he goes back to his original team except he leaves a bottom team and joins a contender 😂

  4. I'd love to see Sammy back back!!!
As for Jack….naw, we good! 🤣
    I'd trade Mitts & a 2023 & 2024 second round picks.

  5. As a Sabres fan, I do not want Reinhart back. He plays scared and is overpaid. No thanks, no room in the lineup anyway with upcoming studs.

  6. As much as that would be funny, no way Florida sells this season because they don’t have their own first.

  7. Reinhart back to the Sabres? HAHAHAHAHHA!!!! These writers need to throw ideas out like this just to stir up hockey fans and justify their jobs. Ridiculous idea, just like Demko, Kane etc etc to the Sabres. Reinhart stunk for the Sabres. Much worse than Eichel, whether people want to admit it or not.

  8. As a Sabres fan idk if I like this he’s a good player played good for us but I think we should pass we need grit on the team Reinhart doesn’t really bring that.

  9. I like Reinhart, he's a consistent 25ish goal scorer to me it seems like he has no teams loyalty. He remains me a little of Taylor Hall hopping to the next hot team. If the Sabers can get him for one of their second sure. But I rather see him go to a cup team.

  10. The return of an NHL air after he has been traded away. Usually never goes well but then there's the linden situation
