  1. Here’s a Question for mailbag & if I think of any more I’ll ask on Twitter

Do you think this team is good enough to be in the playoffs if they go on a run & who do they get at the deadline that could help them get in?

Do you also see veleno & Berggren get sent down if Zadina & vrana get called up

  2. Why don't you guys have grades before you start these episodes,? It would make them get bogged down so much less. To much hemming and hawing.

  3. Seider B- (improving post Chiarot)
Walman C (overrated, the guy has 8pts)
    Hronek C+ (offense B+ defense D)
    Maata B- (A vs expectations)
Chiarot F ($4M flop hurt Seider, Hronek)
    Oesterle D+ (6th DMan)
    Lindstrom F (terrible)

    Overall Defense C-

    Husso B (started A, C last 6 weeks)
    Ned F (fell apart)
    Hellberg C+ (average)

    Goalie C+

    Team. C

  4. For mailbag. Since the wings don't have a superstar in the organization right now. Has yzerman been holding out to get Austin Matthew's? His contract ends next season and the wings can afford him. Matthew's also might not want to sign with Toronto again after not making it past the first round and he know how yzerman built tampa.

  5. My mail bag question is What would it take for Vrana Zadina and Berggren to all be on the Wings roster and what is the realistic possibility?

  6. For the mailbag episode, I’m wondering if the Yzerplan moves Hronek at the trade deadline to a contender what do you think the return in the NHL draft would merit in respect of selection round?

  7. I noticed that you guys list the stats for every player except Chiarot in your discussion of them. Kinda interesting huh? Chiarot has put up an okay amount of offense, has lots of hits and blocked shots, and is eating up ice time on a bad team, leading to some of his stats looking worse than he deserves.

And you grade him worse than Lindstrom? Insane. This is entirely feelings based, and this growing feeling that all of our problems start with Ben Chiarot is totally misguided. He's not constantly out of position, he's not constantly leaving his partner in a bad position, he doesn't turn the puck over much, and his ability to keep a play alive in the offensive zone helps more often than it hurts. I remember being impressed with him early on in the season, when I didn't know much about him and thought he was just a big, basic defensive defenseman. Then he turned out to be a pretty well rounded player and no one seemed to have an issue with him. Then things went downhill after Thanksgiving and he's become the whipping boy.

And shit, "8 games with a few rough ones" was the same situation with Nedeljkovic. 2 wins, 2 OT losses, and a few games where the team in front of him sucked. His last start was the 5-1 loss to Florida where Lalonde said he wasn't the problem. And now he's playing fine in GR. The issues with Ned were always overblown. A narrative got built and now no one questions it.

  8. Why do some people rate on points alone. Wallman has gotten better every game. He’s one of the reason Seider has played better. One of the best skating D men in league.

  9. Mailbag question: do you think it’s possible for Vrana to become the player we projected him as at the end of last season?

  10. Question 2: why hasn’t Scotty signed up to be a DRW defenseman bros over six foot and the DAWG😂😂😂

  11. Mailbag question

With teams like Stars, Flames and Leafs being connected to Bert, of the three teams which one would you guys prefer for picks and players?

Example Bert to flames for Zary and picks
