  1. Petterson is elite af. And underrated by the rest of the league because he had an off 2021

  2. Imagine he posted 103, then had to go to the finals and face someone else and he got 101 and the other guy got 102 so the other guy wins the competition even though Peterson got 103 earlier. That would be stupid hey?

  3. Sportnet with the balls to air that awful production of the Hardest Shot. Embarrassingly bad production all around for the event.

  4. i hate when they do interview with other players during actual skill events…like talk about petey getting 103.2…not karlsson feeling old…like wtf

  5. Absolutely embarrassing stuff from Sportsnet. Vancouver fans have waited three hours up to this point to finally watch Pettersson compete in a skills competition. And it was overrun by shots of Ovechkin and a Karlsson interview…. please learn something from this, Sportsnet. Your subscriber base and the team you have a contract with is Vancouver and the Canucks. Not Washington or San Jose. Put the damn effort in and give the city it's coverage that you HAVE A CONTRACT TO DO.

  6. "And it's a 59 mph shot. Lets go to random player X for comments. So, pizza or ham– wait they're telling me it was a 159 mph shot, so anyways, pizza or hamburgers if you could only pick one to eat for the rest of your life?"

  7. I love how it's so difficult for these modern players with their fancy flex sticks to go over 100 mph when guys like Al Iafrate and Al MacInnis did it with wooden, flat bladed sticks without even trying.

  8. According to ESPN Stats & Info, Elias Pettersson won the NHL Hardest Shot at the All-Star Skills Competition. His 103.2 MPH shot is the 2nd-fastest by a forward all-time behind Steven Stamkos at 103.9 in 2016. A Swedish-born player has now won two years in a row (Victor Hedman won last year).
