Obviously seven games looks way excessive in the context of how it is today. But the play is completely unnecessary. Players have to be made to be thinking around there, “I cannot afford to glide by the goalie and maybe let him know I’m there.” I don’t know what Greenway could have been thinking but to kind of “get in his kitchen” so long as he was there. Harsh suspensions will help erase this mentality, along with others.
This is ridiculous and disgusting the league doesn't see this as a suspension….. kuemper gets a concussion from a blindside hit to the head in his crease and nothing from the league to Greenway other than 2mins for interference and 5mins for being a puss…. yet MacDermid get 2mins for instigating 5mins for kicking ass and a 10min misconduct….are you flipping kidding me…. I'm guessing the next wilds game might have a few suspensions…. IT'S ON WILD……Greenway can GFHS…in the old days your goalie would have a target on his head now but luckily the avs probably will just punish Greenway and anyone that comes to his defense…. UNREAL… NHL… U… F'ED UP…..
Kaprizov took a dirty hit from Bruins' Frederic the other week and all he got was a fine. If Kuemper went into concusion protocol it's cause he's made of glass and his embellishing dive caused a concussion. Look at it closely and Greenway makes barely if any contact with the head, it was mostly Greenways arm to Kuemper's shoulder. Kuemper is still salty from a couple years back when he was with the Yotes and he was chirping the WIld and Koivu scored and yelled at him to STFU!!!
You all are blind. Kuemper hardly got hit. He dived so hard he hurt himself falling into the post. Watch it from the top. He gets grazed and then throws his stick like an elephant charged his a$$. IF he was so freakin hurt, he should have been pulled right then and there. Bunch of pu$$ie$

A major penalty should have been called on the ice, not just a minor for goalie interference. Suspend and fine Greenway/
Greenway is a dirty player and symbolic of a cheap and dirty Wild side. Can't beat 'em. Knock them out. Should have been even more than 7 games!

If you look at the angle from the other side of the net, TV camera I think, Greenway leaves his skates to make the hit.
