Ennis isn’t a dirty player. He was trying to protect himself in a vulnerable position. If he knew Jost wasn’t going to hit him he would of laid up. He caught him in the head while Jost was reaching for the puck. Ennis thought he was going to get nailed and Jost was trying to play the puck.
2 minutes to Ennis for roughing is laughable. He got cross-checked, punched 3 times, then taken to the ground without fighting back. These announcers are worse than the guys who do the Boston broadcast.
So reverse hits are illegal now? News to me. You want to give them matching minors so the Avs don't jump him later, fine but giving him a second one on top of that is crazy. Give them both a rough or hit and rough but that was bad officiating.
