  1. Holy Fvck! Toughen up boys! EVERYONE on the FVCKING planet has a negative side!!!! You "guys" are talking about "feelings?" Fur FVCK SAKE!!!! BOBBY HULL was a great hockey player and legend. He will be remembered as that! When the both of you die, or anyone for that matter…I hope they remember the POSITIVE things about you. Don't worry about what people will think, you have to take a punch in the mouth sometimes, you are not made of glass! All you focused on was the scary negative sides of #9. DON'T MAKE EXCUSES! MAN THE F UP!!!! R.I.P. Golden Jet

  2. I do not want to understate or ignore the myriad problems that Bobby Hull had in his personal life. Yet, a complete picture should discuss the hours he signed autographs and met with fans beyond anyone else in the game in the 1960s. He was certainly not a saint, but he also was not Charles Manson. About 20 years ago, I went to a card signing event that Hull had in Virginia. I had a book and a photo that I had brought for his signature after I paid the entry fee. I am 5'2" and have multiple physical handicaps. When he saw me in line, he stopped the line and gave me particular attention. He started signing everything I had, and when an event planner said , "you are only supposed to sign 1 thing," Bobby told him to forget about it. We then had a chat about the 1971 fInal against Montreal when Tony allowed the goal from Jacques Lemaire at center ice. Bobby then talked for 5 minutes, remembering every player on the ice at the time, who had just finished their shift, etc. He also noted that Tony in his view was the best goalie in the NHL, but he did have extreme near-sightedness. Bobby was cordial, kind, smart, funny, and left me with a lifelong memory and brought a moment of joy to my life. As we consider his passing, let's remember that he also unselfishly brought happiness to many people. Please consider the entire record. People are complicated.

  3. An incredible talent on the ice. One of the greatest of his era. As for anything else, who the hell am I to judge anyone?
