  1. Trade is a win just by the Canucks not signing that contract. Now I just wish we had another first in this years draft instead of Miller

  2. Happy for Bo and his family. However, I am in agreement that that is one contract I’m glad the Canucks aren’t stuck with.

  3. Ur wrong the canucks offered bo 7 mill or 6mill is off season but bo wanted to bet on him self lol but yes I never wanted to sign Miller or bo

  4. It’s due to the coming inflation, it will balance itself out. Especially when the cap finally gets that estimated 4 mil bump.

  5. Canucks literally extended Miller after a career year. I'm a Rangers fan and think its a decent deal

  6. Investing in crypto now should be in every wise individuals list, in some months time you'll be ecstatic with the decision you made today.🌷

  7. You prefer JT Miller over Bo Horvat and it’s “not even close?”

Shows what you know about hockey. Miller got 7 years 8 AAV and that contract kicks in next year when he’s 30… Horvat got 8.5 at 8 and he’s gonna be 28 when that contract starts.
Those contracts are almost the exact same and Horvat is way better than Miller!
You are objectively unknowledgeable about the NHL, stick to to playing video games.

  8. Wow they gonna regret that one. I’m so dam happy we never committed that much money for that long to him.

  9. Going to be interesting revisiting some of these comments in 3 years. Too much money. Too long contract. Happy for Bo getting the bag. Short term, could be fine. But he's a 2C having a career 60 point year with an unsustainable shooting percentage. I don't think it's going to age well.

  10. Thinking you need to watch him play before offering him a deal is like the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard lol. It’s sports? You have to? You just traded a boatload for the guy. You think Vegas needed to watch Mark Stone play to give him his deal 🤣

  11. Kinda like Tage Thompson’s monster contract based on his limited NHL experience. So far so good for Buffalo, though.

  12. the cap is going up signficantly in the next few years. This will be a market value contract for bo in about 2 years, or just a slight overpay

  13. 8.5 million I get but 8 years? Jesus NY better hope Horvat is amazing for all those years

  14. I feel like so many people are criticizing Bo over this contract for no reason. JT Miller didn’t become a point per game player until he was 27. Who’s to say that Bo won’t continue to improve as well? I really hope he proves everyone wrong because he’s been getting way too much disrespect from these arm chair GMs

  15. Everyone knew it was going to be steep. for 3 million more than Beauvillier I’d gladly take it. Just have to hope the cap keeps going up.

  16. We are laughing at you and everyone that agrees with your take Lego. C'mon man! You're a-okay with 7yx8m for JT Miller but not your heart and soul captain at 8yx8.5m? What a joke.

Also, give the man credit.. He signed with both a better team, and organization.

  17. It’s a lotta money but after this video I took at canucks cal friendly and ouch they’re contract situations are just as bad yikes

  18. I may be one of Bo's greatest supporters, but i agree with Lou, too much money and too long of a contract. But what is a manager to do? If you want the good productive players you have to really pay up to be competitive enough to win the cup. It sucks but it is what it is. The good news is Bo is continuing to get better every year, time will tell if he can even get any chemistry with his new team and even perform up to an acceptable level. Look at what Calgary is dealing with Huberdeau, that one is just not working right now and looks like a total disaster. These big money deals can kill a team fast from a cap hit disaster that can last 7-8 years. How many of these big deals even work out, not many i don't think.

  19. JT Miller is a head case and cancer on a team. Islanders did well getting Bo Horvat with giving up very little and signing him to a decent contract. Considering everyone was saying Bo Horvat was going to get 10 million per year on free agency.

  20. Why didn't Canucks add a couple of clauses in trade if he signs with NYI Canucks get something else and father NYI go into playoffs if they make it Canucks get more ? This Raty better not be another Goldobin I'm sure NYI saw what they had in Raty like San Jose saw in the next Bure !

  21. Lego you would have loved this contract if he signed it with the Canucks. Stfu

  22. I'm glad he got paid…by someone other than the Canucks. He's just not worth that much. Hope Miller lives up to his contract just to prove the haters wrong.
